The Parish Church of Winthorpe, St Mary’s is its name, If you ever went to worship You’d go time and time again: Set in its ancient graveyard Its stonework 800 years old, The congregation is very friendly As they welcome you to the fold. Sam and Val are local church wardens Responsible for the church’s upkeep, You can see them every Sunday As they attend service every week. They will take all your bookings Weddings, funerals, baptisms too, No matter what service is required They will attempt to please you; So why not go to see them And see what they can offer you. |
